Dill Seeds
Dill is the dried fruit of the parsley-like herb anethum graveolens. Dill seeds are round, soft, and fluffy, with a pungent, aromatic flavour. Dill seeds have been used since prehistoric times.
They were actually employed as a stimulant for gladiators by the Romans! It’s now commonly used in pickling, salad dressing, soup, and cottage cheese production in German, Russian, Scandinavian, and Indian cuisines.
